WE'AR at New Zealand Fashion Festival 2012

WE'AR showed at 2012 New Zealand Fashion Festival in the day one collections along with Starfish, Moochi, Coop and Salasai. WE'AR offered a taste of winter lavishness with layered up goodness and knitted delights fresh from our ethical production operation in bali. Cotton, rayon and knits peppered with leather and lace rounded out our collection of basics, yoga wear + street-wear. Couldn't make it to the show? Don't worry anya has collated all the news just for you...

a selection of coverage from foureyes.com, thealist.co.nz and snapstarlive.com.

WE'AR have all been dreaming, creating, crafting and collaborating to bring you "Scout" our newest range for winter 2012 which debuted at New Zealand Fashion Festival on Monday.

To our soundtrack of  electro nomadic music our ten models stamped their little desert rider boot clad feet down the runway in a collection of knitwear, foxy goodness and dashes of sweetly sexy lace all topped with a cap + feather. Playful and WE'ARable.

Our ten looks were completed the way that you all complete your wardrobes with we'ar already. A mix of  everyday luxury and sumptuous fabrics. Amongst our new season kulu wrap, bulu boots and kiss shrug sat basics such as our much loved so plenty tank, polyana shorts and new romantic leggings. We didn't forget wardrobe must haves like our batwing sweater and deco skirt. Pieces that look just as great as throw on options in the weekend as they do on the runways of New Zealand Fashion Festival

Layered knitwear, animal adorned fingers and little flashes of faux fur transported viewers from Auckland City to a beautiful and wild winter woodland. "Scout" was completed with foxes, bears and ice skating boots.

Expanding on the knits you loved so much from our range already we'ar created new knit pieces for men and women from soft web like lacey jumpers in shades of soft grey. Chunky knits in warming crimson to rough and ready thick over sized throws with flashes of coral.

If you loved our knitted socks from last season your in luck, they return for winter 2012 in both grey and black perfect for pairing back with gladiator boots, kabuki klompen or our desert rider boot

WE'AR couldn't help but shake it up a little, amongst our ten delightful models WE'AR had our friends walking the runway. Dancer + singer and yogi Will C Barling and our very own yogini + fashionista + dancer and WE'AR staffer Maria.
